Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Design and deliver ETL (Extract, Transform and Loading) solutions for the Reference Data Team which is focused on expansion and maintenance of the firm centralized reference data platform used by the Securities & Spread Division of the Institutional Clients Group. Design, develop and deliver solutions using Ab Initio GDE and Co Op (Continuous, Batch, Plans), Talend Big Data Integration Suite, Java, J2EE, Restful Web Services, Python, Unix Scripting, and Oracle concepts. Design and implement engineering best practices covering performance tuning, automated testing, and monitoring solutions, upgrades, and disaster recovery. Ensure that effective and repeatable processes exist to build, package, and deploy code from development, testing, and subsequent production deployment and support business disaster recovery requirements via seamless failover to backup hosting locations. Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide engineering level support to the business. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing and delivering ETL solutions focused on expanding and maintaining a centralized reference data platform; Developing Ab Initio graphs and plans using GDE and Co-Op with Continuous and Batch processing along with Data Quality checks applied; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process including performing detailed analysis, collecting requirements, coding and unit testing, integration, system testing, and deploying to production; Building jobs using Talend Data Integration Suite and enhancing framework adhering to ETL standards; Utilizing UNIX/Linux Shell scripting, Oracle concepts, SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL performance tuning; and Scheduling and troubleshooting Autosys jobs to ensure correct and complete continuous production system function. 40 hrs./wk.
