Responsibilities

The IA COO & Transformation Senior Business Associate is an intermediate level role which will report into the IA COO & Transformation Business Execution Manager. This role provides the IA COO & Transformation team with administrative structure and strategic support in the establishment of IA’s Consent Order assurance efforts, organization design, and effective positioning of the function to ensure independent assurance is provided consistently and in line with Citigroup and Citibank business objectives.

This role will support the IA COO & Transformation team and will be responsible for overseeing the process of optimized risk assessment, planning and resource allocation across the global team, as well as undertaking specific projects across coverage topics and infrastructure support to enhance and optimize the quality, consistency and cost effectiveness of assurance work and reporting. This includes interacting with Citi's broader IA teams and ensuring execution of our comprehensive plan of coverage over the change and transformation activities therein.

  • Drive the status reporting of plan execution across COO & Transformation and work with the Chief Auditors to identify and resolve barriers to execution.

  • Support, coordinate, and monitor the team’s resourcing allocation to ensure efficient staffing on projects and delivery of the annual plan. Help coordinate the efficient management of the Internal Audit scheduling tool.

  • Assist in coordination of annual planning and quarterly refreshes. Actively work across teams for timely resolution of MI discrepancies.

  • Use excellent communication and strong management skills to influence a wide range of internal audiences including respective product, function, or regional executive management partners, and external audiences such as regulators and external auditors. Work closely and collegially with the COO & Transformation Chief Auditors (US and other regions), other IA colleagues (e.g., IA Directors) and line management and control functions when required.

  • Help lead team engagement and actions as part of Voice of Employees (VOE) commitments.

  • Coordinate with the L&D team in developing IA-specific learnings, as well as targeting 90% participation in all assigned trainings.

  • Oversee the fulfilment of the COO & Transformation OD and facilitate the recruitment of staff and development of talent across teams and geographies.

  • Coordinate with Resource Management on cost/budget tracking, organization Design (OD) and co-source management.

  • Support the Chief Auditors in preparing and arranging town halls and any other engagement forums.

  • Assist in coordination, tracking and reporting of IA and regulatory issue validation assignments.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent. Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) are a plus.

  • Intermediate level experience in a related role with experience in business, functional and people management, with proven abilities in taking responsibility for executing concurrently on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables.

  • Proven project management experience across complex environments

  • Strong presentation development skills, displaying creativity and brevity

  • Highly organized to keep track of multiple projects and priorities

  • Solid business understanding of various financial services products would be beneficial

  • Strong technical skills in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

  • Must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic and approachable style

  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
