Job Description

A large retail client headquartered in Irving, TX is looking for a new Android Developer to assist in customer-facing applications. This team is responsible for designing a native application that will consume back-end APIS. This new developer would join an new team of 6 developers and be responsible for hands-on development using Android Studio. They will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional partners and participate in the agile development processes including sprint planning, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions. This is the perfect role if you are interested in growing your Android Development skillset with an innovative and collaborative team

Skills and Requirements

· 5-10+ years of experience as an Android Developer developing Android applications

 · Strong hands on experience using Android Studio

 · Strong experience with Java, Kotlin or Gradle.

 · Development experience with Android frameworks (service, JNI, native service, HAL, etc.),

 · Hands on experience with creating a productionized app for an enterprise level client.

 · Previous experience supporting an e-commerce application.

 · Strong communications skills, ability to communicate effectively within distributed teams

 · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, similar, or equivalent working experience · Retail Experience

 · IOS Experience

 · Knowledge of how to implement & integrate into cloud

(GCP preferred)
