The Supply Chain Transportation Specialist [ON-SITE] will be responsible for supporting dispatching with day-to-day Supply Chain operations. The Specialist will work within the company’s system(s) of record (SAP/EWM, Ariba, Supplier Network Collaboration, IGAM, SharePoint, Samsara, etc.) responsible for data analytics, data mining and supporting Cross-Dock activities.

  • Build and maintain relationships with Contractors, Suppliers, and internal Operating Unit (OU) collaborators to maintain/improve performance with material delivery to support Southern California Edison (SCE).

  • Proactively monitor ZLESHIP reports.

  • Work directly with OU client to quickly resolve day to day Material Transport issues to ensure timely processing of goods delivery.

  • Work directly with various contractors and front-line support groups at tactical levels to maintain effective delivery performance.Support SCE with all business resiliency programs within the scope of the OU

The Essentials

  • Three to Five years of experience with data and cost analysis.

  • Three to Five years of experience monitoring and tracking performance of operations\: including clerical tasks, organizing/maintaining records and scheduling appointments.

The Preferred

  • Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

  • Experience with procurement, supply organization and monitoring material movement.

  • Experience with SAP software in an inventory management and/or purchasing environment.

  • Experience with industry best practices, standards, utility regulations, procedures, compliance as they relate to transportation and supply chain logistics.

  • This position’s work mode is ON-SITE. The employee will report to an SCE facility. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
