Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team in a rapidly growing company. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the payroll process in an accurate and timely manner. Providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls accurately and on time using payroll software, UKG Pro for 2,000 plus employees.

  • ​​​ Verify employee time records, deductions, and adjustments.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required by management.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws and tax requirements.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.

  • Assist with payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date on changes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.

  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.

    Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience utilizing automated payroll systems; UKG Pro experience is required.

  • Experience with Workforce Management previously called Kronos Dimensions.

  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
