The Opportunity

This position works at Umraniye location in the International Finance Division. We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate logistics, order entry, customer service, and import/export operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of improving operational/cost efficiency. As Operations Manager, you will be reporting to EMEA Logistics Leader.

What You’ll Do

1. Logistics Management :

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of logistics operations.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, sources, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

2. Order Entry and Customer Service:

  • Supervise the order entry process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Lead the customer service team to provide exceptional support and resolve customer issues promptly.

  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.

3. Import & Export supervision :

  • Manage all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international/National trade regulations.

  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import/export processes.

  • Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and documentation.

4. Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across logistics, order entry, and customer service functions.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

5. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational & financial efficiency.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure the company remains competitive.

6. Margin and Profitability Focus:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve profit margins and overall profitability.

  • Analyze financial (department related) data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for revenue growth (logistics wise)

  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to align operational strategies with financial goals.

7. Audits and Compliance:

  • Ensure all logistics, order entry, customer service, and import/export activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.

  • Support regular audits to verify compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and regulatory inspections.

  • Implement corrective actions to address any non-compliance issues identified during audits.

  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and update company policies and procedures accordingly.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, customer service, and import/export management.

  • Desirable strong knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Fluent in English, reports to International (oral and written)

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
