Your role as a Meetings & Events Server:
- Responsible for all elements of on-site events associated with set up, service, and breakdown.
- Ensure all events are executed correctly and all contractual obligations indicated on the event order are met.
- Communicate with the culinary team to ensure safe and elegant food service.
- Maintain buffets and food displays to departmental standards.
- Provide safe, responsible alcohol practices for both tableside and bar-style service.
- Mentor and guide student workers through proper service techniques.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns.
- Create a welcoming environment for event guests and student workers.
- Report incidents, concerns and noteworthy occurrences at events to management team.
Qualifications:
- Well versed in food, alcohol and general guest service.
- Able to meet client and guest requests with prompt responses, professional and pleasant demeanor.
- Must be detail oriented, self-starting and committed to providing excellent service fitting of a four-diamond property.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience in an Events setting.
