Mayo Clinic Dietitian Supplemental - Dialysis/Chronic Kidney in Jacksonville, Florida
Department Clinical Nutrition
Perform direct patient nutrition care to include: nutrition screening and assessment; development and implementation of nutrition care; patient, family, and staff education for patients receiving care in the dialysis center and chronic kidney disease clinic.
EDUCATION : Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Service and Human Nutrition, Human Nutrition or Dietetics. Masters preferred. Completion of an ADA approved dietetics internship program, current ADA registration or registration eligible required. EXPERIENCE : Three years hospital experience preferred.
COMPETENCY: JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must exhibit good clinical skills; communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. ADDL CONSIDERATIONS: Must be able to be flexible in job responsibilities. Work as a team member with Food and Nutrition Services as well as all other hospital staff.
License or certification
Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinical (CNSC) preferred
RDN, LD/N required. Individual must obtain a Florida license within 6 months of employment.
Exemption status Non-exempt
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $31.35 per hour.
