This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald's logos and food products for example when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and separate employer from McDonald's USA. DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Technology Professional (OTP) Pro to actively support the development and execution of our in-restaurant technology, ensuring that all equipment functions at the highest level for our customers and crew. OTPs are at the heart of running great restaurants. They elevate expertise and ensure end users-managers, crew, and customers can effectively use the technology in the restaurants.

REQUIREMENTS:

The OTP Pro is responsible for deploying, maintaining and repairing restaurant hardware, software and network technology in their organization's restaurants.

DUTIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Upgrades: Perform certain self-installs and OS upgrades

Maintain and repair technology equipment in the restaurants

Perform certain self-installs and OS upgrades

Ensure technology is functioning well for customers and crew

Troubleshoot point of sale technology issues and repair or replace equipment

Must have flexible availability; may need to be available late evenings/early mornings to troubleshoot onsite or over the phone during a system outage

Complete weekly and monthly restaurant technology walk thru

Troubleshooting: Provide in house technology support to triage issues on-site and over the phone

Development: Train, develop and lead an organization of OTPs for restaurant level support

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Competitive pay starting at $40,000-$55,000/year, depending on experience

Up to 3 weeks paid vacation

Responsible with good attention to detail and strong time management skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technology needs

Self-motivated with a thirst for knowledge

Flexible availability as some upgrades or equipment replacements must be completed during late evenings or early mornings. Weekend availability and on call availability may be needed on occasion.
