Head of Sales, Health Solutions

We’re hiring! Aon is currently recruiting a Head of Sales to join our Health Solutions team in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Opportunity

Responsible for driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business, resulting in revenue growth across Health Solutions in Indonesia. This role will champion all sales-related initiatives and work closely with colleagues from the Regional Health Solutions team and other solution line leaders from Aon Indonesia in the design and execution of Aon Indonesia’s growth strategies and positioning as the leading benefits advisory firm.

Core Responsibilities

  • Working with the Head of Health Solutions to create sustainable divisional growth plans and Local Market Planning (LMP)

  • Working with the Head of Account Management, Head of Advisory, and other solution line leaders todevelop growth and retention strategies

  • Leading all aspects of the development and execution of the annual sales plan to ensure that there are sufficient open pipelines to meet the year-to-year budgeted revenue growth through new business penetration

  • Developing and cultivating a sales culture that instils the importance of profitable growth to the business

  • Generating and developing leads through various channels and events with the objective of converting leads to sales opportunities

  • Strategizing local market plans to build a continuous pipeline of opportunities and converting those prospects to clients

  • Leading the sales team in the pursuit of large and/or strategic important new business opportunities, including but not limited to tender responses, develop quality presentations, work with the relevant in-country and regional expertise

  • Leading the various channels of new business penetration including but not limited to in-bound global opportunities and new-to-existing opportunities

  • Partnering with Marketing to integrate marketing strategy and developing sales and marketing materials

  • Coordinating Health Solutions activities across Aon Indonesia to optimize cross-selling opportunities

  • Developing Aon United opportunities by engaging colleagues across the business and demonstrating strong Aon IQ and ability to help solve clients’ needs

  • Facilitating Aon United activities across solution lines, including where appropriate the introduction of the Enterprise Client Group colleagues/services

  • Ensuring all aspects of Aon Indonesia’s operation meet compliance standard determined by Aon Policy and Protocols and local regulations, including clearly defined sales strategy and activity, accurate pipeline reporting updates through Aon Connect usage and compliance with marketing and branding standards

Additional Responsibilities

  • Be an active participant and contributor to the local Health Solutions Leadership and Commercial forums (as required)

  • Contributing to various Health Solutions APAC initiatives and other leadership forums (as required)

  • Contributing to client solutions development in Indonesia

  • Connecting the local country teams with regional colleagues, to bring the best of Aon to our clients and prospects

  • Performing other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your Manager and members of the Regional Leadership Team

  • Maintaining a continual professional development standard through Aon University and any other industry driven licensing or educational requirements

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the overall employee benefits program, its funding mechanism, broking processes, advisory and consulting, market segments, and marketplaces

  • Minimum regulatory requirements as stipulated by OJK and other relevant authority

  • Experienced and consistent record in leading sales team of related experience in broking/consulting/professional services firm

  • Highly motivated and excellent leadership skills while consistently working towards results

  • An effective communicator who uses consultative selling skills

  • Possess strategic planning skills, business acumen, and sales proficiency

  • Demonstrate accountability, coaching, and management skills

  • Alignment to departmental and organizational vision and goals

  • Effective interpersonal and people management skills
