Assembly Specialist of Small Turned Metal Parts
Job FocusResponsible for the assembly and/or inspection of precision turned metal parts to ensure conformance with quality specifications.
Job Duties
Assembly of small precision turned metal parts
Perform quality checks of small precision turned metal parts to ensure conformance of part specifications
Record keeping associated with production and quality of product
Maintain rates of assembly or inspection of metal parts while meeting quality specification
General Duties
Follow all processes and procedures.
Remain alert and aware to any health and safety hazards or health and safety violations and report any concerns to management. Comply with regulatory requirements of OSHA, DEC, EPA etc
Strive to develop new ideas and techniques to improve process and/or quality
Essential Physical Requirements
Ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to quickly and repeatedly adjust machine controls to exact position, grasp, and manipulate very small parts and hold machinery and parts in a steady pattern
Ability to push, pull, lift and move materials weighing zero to 50 pounds
Regularly required to stand, bend, sit and move to operate machines and move around facility
