Work with a world class team to develop, implement, and support cutting edge Oracle technology. We are looking for an IT Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations for the team that supports End User Devices throughout MUHC. The IT Team Lead will manage the team responsible for implementation, support, and maintenance of end user devices throughout our client's environment. As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

Responsibilities

As a first-level manager who has performed technical or professional duties in a support environment, a significant component of your duties will entail gaining knowledge of policies affecting staff and in development of effective management skills. You will interact frequently with customers and other team leads/managers. Bottom line, you will establish and communicate departmental objectives and implement plans to assure attainment of goals. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the End User Device Team, including hiring, onboarding, training, and supervising staff

  • Manage departmental relationships throughout the health system and ensure everyone is in sync regarding current as well as upcoming projects/priorities

  • Assist and manage inter-team relationships throughout the client environment

  • Provide technical support to departments and end-users throughout the health system and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner 24/7/365

  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures for the End User Device Team

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and regulations

  • Monitor and manage the End User Device Team budget

  • Strive to improve inter/cross-team communication to achieve team/project objectives

The requirements of this role are as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 years in a management role preferred

  • Ability to work onsite at our facility and be available for after-hours support as needed

  • Experience working in a health system/medical setting is preferred

  • Experience managing/maintaining devices and end users in an enterprise environment

  • Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure, networking, and security

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $27.40 to $60.63 per hour; from $57,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
