Salary: $23/hr Essential Duties:

  • Able to perform essential job functions outside of normal working hours.

  • Maintains parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

  • Other duties not listed herein but which need to be accomplished to maintain safe and timely day-to-day operations of the plant.

  • Team player using organization skills to achieve Inventory paperwork with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Dispatch time sensitive emergency work in a busy maintenance department.

  • Enter, update, complete work orders in Mpulse procurement system.

  • Observe and follow TPM guidelines ensuring product quality.

  • Participate in planning for long term changes and plant shutdown maintenance schedules, using cost effective logistics. To be able to forecast projects during shutdowns and have critical parts available.

  • Verify receipt quantities on shop orders against receipt transactions in Mpulse and MSS system.

  • Process all on-site accounts payable receiving and vouchering through Mpulse accounting programs.

  • Maintain a computer database (Mpulse 9) for equipment that are on a PM schedule.

  • Take care of all maintenance spare parts dealing with production equipment, electrical, and typical tools of the trade.

  • Answer phones, take orders, maintain order files, run daily reports, check inventory.

  • Keep office area and stock areas clean and free from any debris, or trip hazards and potential accidents.

  • Works daily with receiving and accounts payable team members.

  • Able to effectively screen costs to keep the company competitive.

    Skills/Qualifications:

  • Capable of developing standard work instructions for multiple sites.

  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.

  • Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved.

  • Ability to interpret and work from pencil sketches and diagrams.

  • Requires strong skills in reading, writing and time management.

  • Ability to work independent of others, as well as with a team to resolve issues.

  • Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the job.

  • Ability to use a personal computer. Knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus.

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • May be required to lift up to approximately 35 pounds

  • Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion

  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles

  • Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions
