The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Server Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing operational support for our global server infrastructure, both on-premises and in AWS. The ideal candidate will have experience with VMware, Windows Server, AWS, and Cisco UCS technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Windows Server Management:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers.

  • Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources.

  • Develop automation scripts for daily tasks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless server operations.

  • VMware Expertise:

  • Virtualize Windows servers using VMware technologies.

  • Manage VMware OS templates.

  • Support of Site Recovery Manager for Disaster recovery

  • Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues.

  • AWS Support:

  • Operational support for Amazon Windows EC2 instances.

  • Support automation of EC2 instances through CloudFormation templates.

  • Ensure compliance with AWS best practices.

  • Cisco UCS Support:

  • Configure and manage Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) servers.

  • Monitor UCS performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with network teams for seamless integration.

  • Software Updates and Patching:

  • Regularly apply security updates, hotfixes, and service packs to ensure the latest security and stability improvements.

  • Achieve 99% vulnerability remediation for issues open for more than 30 days.

  • Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure that Windows-based systems adhere to relevant industry standards and compliance regulations.

  • Maintain 99% TSS (Technical Security Standards) compliance across the Windows Server Platform.

  • Software Deployment:

  • Facilitate the deployment and installation of software applications leveraging tools such as SCCM or Ansible

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

  • Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows Server administration.

  • Proficiency in VMware technologies.

  • Familiarity with AWS services and migration strategies.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory and security protocols.

  • Ability to work in a highly regulated industry (PCI and PII requirements).

The typical base pay range for this role is between $125k - $155k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
