HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to handle installations and service of HVAC and HVAC/R systems primarily in commercial settings. This role involves frequent physical activities, visual inspection of machinery, and lifting of heavy equipment. Candidates must be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including weekends and nights as needed. The role covers areas from Chicago to the far north suburbs.

Work Site / Pay

This is a fully on-site position in the McHenry land area.

$25-40 hr rate.

Work Environment

This position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking. Technicians will need to perform a variety of physical actions such as bending, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, stretching, and leaning. The role requires lifting at least 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Personal protective equipment must be worn. Technicians will be exposed to various smells, temperatures, noises, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts associated with HVAC systems, construction, and reno
