Access Care Representative B, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a Access Care Representative B to join our WMC Access Care department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$16.35 - $21.49 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

The Access Care Representative performs a wide variety of activities related to scheduling, registration, financial compliance, and customer support for all services performed. The Access Care areas act as the entry point. It is the responsibility of an Access Care Representative to promote a caring, professional manner, while collecting Accurate and complete data necessary for billing and account processing.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Two years’ experience in medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care.

  • Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Medical Terminology, experience with scheduling.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • Not Applicable

Preferred:

  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)

  • Current driver’s license
