Certified Teacher - The Certified Teacher leads the classroom team in assessing, planning, and responding to the individual needs of Head Start and Johnson City School District sponsored children enrolled in a full day, full year Universal Pre-kindergarten program.
<P> Major Skills <LI> Uses Creative Curriculum to create and maintain a classroom environment that meets the developmental needs of children and encourages their independence. <LI> Works cooperatively with Agency and JCSD/BCSD to conduct a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate program. <LI> Models developmentally appropriate practices. <LI> Leads classroom team in the implementation of goals, guidelines, and objectives.
