Key Responsibilities and Expectations

Hospital-based Infectious Disease APP Opportunity at United Health Service ( UHS ). This position will include providing inpatient and outpatient consults and follow up in the specialty of infectious disease at two hospitals- Wilson and Binghamton General Hospital ( UHS ). You will be joining an already established group of three physicians and one APP. This is an exceptional opportunity with a strong potential for growth.  

Full-time, exempt and seeking both experienced and new, motivated graduate Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program and have current certification and NY state license.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will develop and implement patient management plans, review electronic medical records, progress notes and assist in provision of continuity of care and instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
