Operating Room Technician, UHS Wilson Place United Health Services is seeking a Operating Room Technician to join our Wilson Place Operating Room department at UHS Wilson Place in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$21.80 - $32.60 per hour, depending on experience.
Overview
Under general direction, observes and practices sterile technique, maintains asepsis, anticipates and assists the surgeon as needed. Actively participates in patient care and safety. Utilizes OR supplies conservatively and operates as a team member of the OR staff.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Previous Operating Room experience
Previous Surgical Technologist experience
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Meets the NYS Surgical Technologist Certification Law; OR Completed a Surgical Technologist program in the Armed Forces; OR Completed a nationally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist with a nationally accredited Surgical Technologist credential
CPR Certification within 3 months of hire
