Aerotek Manual Machinist in Joliet, Illinois

-Set up and operate manual mills, manual lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses to machine and fabricate parts

-Performing layouts, setting up and operating conventional machine tools as required

-Reading and interpreting all blueprint drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

-Designing setup methods where none exist

-Instructing other shop personnel on proper machining techniques

-Continually improving methods to deliver higher quality with improved costs

-Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspections and measurements

-Change out and select proper tooling

-1st shift, 5am-3:30pm, M-F
