General Summary: \ \ Analyzes software across the organization to pinpoint areas where additional efficiencies can be gained through integration, optimization, and feature utilization. Works individually and with project teams to research, evaluate, and advise on new software for internal operational support. Manages new software implementations and plays a key role in feature adoption for new and existing software. Acts as technical point-of-contact for vendors during implementation. Demonstrates strong understanding and skill level in a variety of integration methods and underlying technologies.\ \ Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for guiding the new software evaluation/implementation process and integrating new and existing software company-wide;
  • Establishes and maintains software evaluation, implementation, and integration documentation (requirements, process, dataflows, design, testing, etc);
  • Gathers/documents application enhancement requests and works with vendors from request submission through implementation/testing;
  • Ensures data integrity through data extraction, conversion, processing, storage, middleware automation, and other data manipulation processes;
  • Works with Data Engineers and Database Developers to design, develop, and maintain ETL processes related to importing and exporting data from source systems, transforming/cleansing/enhancing data, and providing data to designated systems;
  • Works with Data Engineers and Database Developers to develop, execute, and manage SQL database tables, views, and stored procedures;
  • Works with Data Engineers and Database Developers to perform administrative maintenance of relational databases including backup/recovery, scheduling jobs, problem diagnosis, and performance tuning;
  • Thoroughly tests integration solutions using both manual and automated methods and provides ongoing support;
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and designs automation scripts and systems using a variety of techniques and methodologies;
  • Works to understand business needs and drivers when searching for new software options;
  • Manages multiple software implementation and optimization projects, coordinates with project stakeholders, and ensures requirements are met from a timeline, budget, and security compliance audit perspective;
  • Researches and stays informed about new software and industry trends;
  • Helps manage application access; assigns and periodically audits permissions; ensures the application permissions fit user roles;
  • Frequently and effectively communicates information and responds to questions from groups of managers and co-workers;
  • Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required;
  • Works individually and with other team members to resolve incoming end-user support requests;
  • Performs other duties as required by the Application Support & Development Manager.

\ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of C#, PowerShell, Python, XML, JSON, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, ASP/ASP.NET, AJAX, SOAP, and REST standard concepts, practices, and procedures, with excellent code documentation/commenting;
  • In-depth knowledge of database design, development methods, and techniques and understanding of SQL based environments, i.e. MS-SQL, MySQL, etc;
  • Advanced knowledge of middleware/middle tier integration;
  • Knowledge of SSO integration with Azure;
  • Proficient in SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and Power Apps;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with advanced nowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Knowledge of operational software (i.e., Salesforce, billing systems, etc.);
  • Knowledge of application troubleshooting tools (i.e., Windows Sysinternals, etc.);
  • Knowledge of networking technologies (i.e., connectivity, monitoring, etc.);
  • Ability to solve complex problems with many variables using best practices with respect to cybersecurity;
  • Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand;
  • Ability to understand the transactional relationship between systems as well as the distinct business intelligence needs of our internal customers and how integration supports the process;
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail;
  • Highly skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and projects;
  • Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver\'s License with a satisfactory driving record.
