2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 2:30am (4 days/10-hour shifts), some overtime as required

Starting Pay Rate: $25+/hour, depending on education, training, and experience

Additional Compensation Available: $0.90/hour Safety and Attendance Bonus, discretionary $90/month gas bonus, discretionary end-of-year bonus, steel-toe reimbursement, free uniforms

SUMMARY

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for receiving, storing, packaging, processing, and distribution of materials in conjunction with the scheduling of work orders, tools, equipment, maintenance, and the personnel needed to meet customer requirements and management objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

Execute scheduled production plan.

Directly supervise employees in General Fabrication and CNC.

Ship orders on time.

Determines the production schedules based on customer order requirements.

Transports material and goods from receiving, storage, or production areas to various processing, shipping and storage locations.

Supervises employees to make certain production objectives are met.

Trains employees on the job, as needed, to improve knowledge and skills for various procedures to include, but not limited to, blueprint reading, job order interpretation and general product inspections.

Partners with both employees and managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments to include, but not limited to, requesting cut material from distribution and working products through various stages of fabrication.

Maintains a safe work environment by overseeing employees to make certain MIOSHA, safety rules and regulations are followed.

Ensures that all ISO quality forms for each procedure regarding production are completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Organizes storage and processing areas to make most efficient use of space and handling requirements.
