Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a “QuickBooks Bookkeeper” for a local Flathead Valley company!Work schedule; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities:A QuickBooks bookkeeper uses the accounting software QuickBooks to manage a company's financial records. Their responsibilities include: - Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process. - Reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month. - Generating financial reports: Creating balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports - Collaborating with others: Working with accountants and department heads to review financial statements - Organizing and entering information: Inputting invoice information, spending reports, and taxes - Checking accuracy: Verifying the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings - Monitoring financial transactions and reports. - Processing accounts receivable and payable. - Processing checks. - Understanding ledgers. - Working with an accountant when necessary. - Handling monthly payroll using accounting software.Requirements: - Associate's degree in accounting or business administration.
