Description

The Employee Insights Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and experience by leveraging data-driven insights. This role involves analyzing employee feedback, managing engagement surveys, and creating actionable plans to improve organizational culture and performance. This position will work with business, HR and other corporate services leaders to create and execute strategies and programs that align with the company's objectives. This is an onsite opportunity at our World Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. We do not have hybrid or remote schedules.

  • Design, implement and manage engagement and feedback surveys. Ensure solutions, tools, technology and methodologies are up-to-date, aligned with industry best practices and meet the needs of the organization.

  • Collect, analyze and interpret employee data and survey results. Identify trends, patterns, successes and areas for improvement based on data insights.

  • Prepare and present reports on employee engagement metrics and insights to senior leadership. Provide actionable recommendations to address identified concerns.

  • Collaborate with business and HR leadership to develop and execute strategies, programs and action plans based on survey results.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies, programs and action plans and make adjustments as necessary.

  • Partner with HR business partners, department managers, corporate communications and other stakeholders to promote and drive engagement initiatives.

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on engagement and feedback best practices.

  • Assess the impact of engagement programs and initiatives. Recommend changes as appropriate.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve methodologies and tools for better insights.

  • Partner with business units to coordinate business unit engagement initiatives to ensure consistency in experience, alignment with overall program goals and company objectives.

  • Manage permissions for employee engagement and feedback data access in alignment with the company’s data governance policies.

  • Manage company participation in and/or application for a variety of global, national and local workplace related awards and recognition, in support of company objectives. Oversee all components of the process to include calendar, surveys, submittals and related budgets. Partner with corporate communications and events to support related recognition events.

  • Partner with corporate communications to develop and execute communication strategies related to engagement initiatives and survey outcomes.

  • Manage relationships with third-party survey providers, consultants and technology providers. Partner with Information Technology and Procurement to manage related contracts.

  • Manage the close partnership with leadership teams to serve as an advisor and partner to the business.

  • Manage the development of employee engagement expertise by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, benchmark comparisons and other developments.

  • Manage the team’s successful execution of employee engagement strategy by identifying business needs, setting priorities, removing barriers and obstacles and allocating resources to consistently meet or exceed expectations and achieve goals.

  • Motivate and engage team by creating and maintaining an inclusive, great place to work environment for all.

  • Assign work and manage workload of team. Improve work processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of team.

  • Demonstrate support and adherence to company mission, vision and values including the safety program, MacCulture Principles and diversity, equity and inclusion program.

  • Responsible for the recruitment, development, training, and retention of staff.

  • Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for department staff.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department.

  • Responsible for interpreting the organization's policies, purposes, and goals to staff.

  • Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence.

  • Enforce compliance with company and site safety policies.

  • Responsible for diversity initiatives.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in human resource management, communications, business administration or other related field and 8 years of relevant employee engagement experience required

  • Experience in the A/E/C industry and previous leadership experience preferred.

  • Previous experience working with third-party survey providers and engagement consultants preferred, including contract management.

  • Previous experience managing workplace award submittals and recognition preferred.

  • Must have proven experience managing data driven employee engagement initiatives that align with business objectives.

  • Experience designing and analyzing employee surveys required.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in survey (e.g. Qualtrics), data analysis and visualization tools.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Strong long-term conceptual planning and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Must maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

  • Ability to think strategically, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into effective engagement strategies.

  • Ability to understand the parts of our business and their interrelationships; this includes skill in understanding the A/E/C industry, competition and expected future developments and challenges, the business’s competitive strengths and weaknesses.

  • Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage others, include changes in the work environment.

  • Excellent facilitation, organization and problem-solving skills
