Description

As a Network Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions to meet the organization's current and future needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

  • Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining networking equipment in the enterprise LAN and WAN environments.

  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot wireless networks, including corporate, cellular and satellite.

  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

  • Provide first-tier technical troubleshooting of network-related issues to the company’s employees.

  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot issues with UPS devices powering the LAN and WAN hardware.

  • Coordinate configuration, shipping, and installation of network equipment for remote locations.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups to keep the network infrastructure secure and up to date.

  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Assist in compliance audits and remediation efforts related to network security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or related field, and 4 years of direct Network Analyst experience. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

  • Technical experience installing and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, Cisco Meraki and Catalyst preferred.

  • Experience installing and troubleshooting wireless networks.

  • General understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues remotely.

  • Proficiency in understanding network subnets and routing.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex network issues.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to be on call on a rotating basis.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred

  • Relevant certifications such as Network , CCNA, CCNP or similar.

  • Experience with SD-WAN technology, SilverPeak preferred.

  • General understanding of security concepts, firewalls and best practices.

  • An understanding of cloud network concepts.

  • Proficiency supporting remote access VPNs.

  • Hands-on experience with DDI (DHCP, DNS, IPAM) solutions.

  • Previous experience with Network Access Control (NAC) systems.

  • General understanding of Audio/Video equipment, including Teams Conference Rooms.

  • Previous experience with Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS).
