The Senior Manager - Cloud and Infrastructure is responsible for managing the organization's cloud-based infrastructure and ensuring its stability, security, and scalability. They will lead a team of cloud engineers and technicians to ensure the successful implementation and operation of cloud-based systems. The Senior Manager - Cloud and Infrastructure will also be responsible for developing and implementing best practices and procedures for cloud infrastructure management. This position reports into Cloud and Infrastructure Lead and is based at Kenvue Solutions India.

What You Will Do

The Cloud and Infrastructure, Sr. Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day systems operations, driving company initiatives, and ensuring systems are in place to support local or global operations. You will lead, influence, and negotiate to achieve business strategies and deliver results for internal/external partner(s), while contributing to Human Resources related processes.:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization's cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure best practices and procedures.

  • Manage a team of cloud engineers and technicians.

  • Plan and implement cloud-based systems to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Ensure the security and stability of the organization's cloud infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based systems.

  • Support cloud migrations across multiple regions and providers.

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.Partner with server, database, and network teams to lead strategy and roadmap for automated provisioning, decommission, and patch management using infrastructure as code methodologies and tools

  • Collaborate with strategic external partners, global leaders, and executives to understand technology needs and drive innovation through automation of services and capabilities.

  • Grow and scale a diverse, credible, and agile team with talent and technical expertise to manage server and database lifecycle in our Kenvue private cloud (on-prem) as well as public cloud providers AWS, and Azure

  • Drive infrastructure automation strategy for hybrid and multi-cloud footprint to improve reliability, improve flow, and reduce friction (overall improved Developer and stakeholder experience)

  • Develop REST APIs in python using BDD methodology and implement public cloud security guardrails to ensure the operational integrity of all changes to the operational environment

  • Partner with application teams and drive resolution of sophisticated technical problems to meet or exceed customer requirements with respect to time, cost efficiency & business value

  • Use observability data to help drive a culture of site reliability engineering (SRE) by defining SLIs, SLO’s, SLA’s, and Error Budgets for all tech software/infrastructure products and services

  • Partner closely with business & technology leaders and teams globally (all regions) and develop Infrastructure as a Service (self-service) roadmap to meet our observability and automation OKR’s

  • Partner with HR to recruit, hire, retain high-performing in-house engineering talent that help to drive our OKR’s and contribute to our diversity and including strategy, succession planning, talent management, compensation planning, performance management

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of experience in cloud and datacenter, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse Infrastructure as Service (Linux, Windows, Oracle, MS-SQL, Postgres) capabilities in VMWare or equivalent open-source virtualization, AWS, and Azure is required

  • Demonstrated experience in Microservices architecture, Behave (or Test) driven development, Agile and DevOps is required

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.

  • Strong product technology background; strong understanding of platform thinking and global experience delivering global platforms while tailoring for regional/local markets

  • Experience leading large-scale global transformation initiatives with enterprise level impact; programs with extensive cross-functional technology & business involvement

  • Ability to interface with required business counterparts to lead, influence and negotiate to achieve business strategies & deliver results for internal/external partner(s)

  • Has an innovative, agile, and high-performing teaming mindset to guide all operations towards common definitions and standards

  • Technology thought leadership in the latest advances in the market, trends, and modern technology frameworks (e.g. Agile, DevOps) to establish improvement processes
