American Blue Collar Transport LLC Appliance Delivery and Installer in Kenai, Alaska
We are seeking a Driver's Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be competent and comfortable with installing various home appliances and ensuring they are set up correctly and functioning properly.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload cargo manually using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and shoulder dollies
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of items
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues or changes in delivery schedule
- Install products according to specifications and follow company policies
- Perform test cycles to ensure product is functioning properly
Requirements:
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Proficiency in moving and handling materials efficiently and cargo securement
Driver's license required for company business.
