Amentum Jr Maximo Developer in Kennedy Space Center, Florida

JOB DESCRIPTION/POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Jr. Maximo developer is responsible for the development, enhancement, effective deployment

and support of the Maximo application. Other responsibilities include: researching system problems,

integration with other applications, Conducts development activities in accordance with the software

development lifecycle and defined change control and

compliance procedures, Provide support for the expansion of Maximo program capabilities, report

development using tools bundled with the Maximo application, support for issues related to the

Maximo application and supporting products (WebSphere, Open source BIRT) , Review requirements and

functional designs, develop and implement solutions using internal and external application tools

( ex. workflows, escalations, database configuration). Engaging with senior developers, system administrators.

REQUIRED SKILLS/SPECIAL TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS:

Ability to communicate effectively.

Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

Excellent analytical and technical skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Proficient in SQL to support Reporting and ad hoc queries.

Proficient knowledge of Maximo including: Application designer, Database administration, Workflow designer, Escalations

Conditional expressions, Automation scripts (Python /Jython), BIRT Reporting Studio.

EDUCATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE (Ref. Section C: Job Leveling):

0-2 years of relevant experience with Bachelors degree; OR

4+ years of relevant experience with Associates degree.
