Whether you want to lead more, innovate more, learn more or create more, you can find your more with Mohawk.What we need:This mid-level position will prepare and manage the budget for IS Organization, including special projects.What you\'ll do: * Prepares statistical, operating, and performance reports of departmental expenditures, forecasts, and budgets. * Ensuring the proper allocation of expenses and accurate reconciliation of accounts for month-end close developing models to prepare forecast and trend analysis * Developing dashboards and KPI reports * Identifying and resolving discrepancies and working with management to prepare explanations for variances. * Manages the Capital Expenditure Budget and forecasting process * Acts as a liaison to the line- of business and finance staff concerning IS financial issues. * Performs analysis concerning investment projects and follow-up. * Defines, implements and ensures that financial procedures and documentation are properly maintained and communicated following GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and other corporate accounting procedures and guidelines. * Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the department\'s accounts receivable/ payable activities; this includes but is not limited to: working with corporate accounting and LOB to ensure the timely and accurate reconciliation of all IS general ledger and other related accounts, maintaining and updating records for contractual agreements, computer leases, etc.; validating invoices and codes, coordinating the deposit of miscellaneous vendor checks; identifying and resolving accounting issues, and ensuring the CIO and PMO are made aware of questionable transactions that may require further attention. * Will be involved in ad hoc analysis and projects * Performs other duties as required in support of the PMO, CIO, BU CIO and COE leads What you have: * 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting capital and general accounting experience. This is a mid level role * SAP and Hyperion experience would be good * Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline * Sense of urgency and detail oriented What you\'re good at: * Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers, and senior management, and ability to communicate with others in antagonistic situations using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism per corporate standards * Ability and willingness to accept responsibility, willingness to challenge established practices, and draw relevant conclusions, including the persistence and willingness to take a calculated risk, to market and sell new ideas within the organization. * Comfortable working with senior leadership * Ability to perform in a high-pressure matrix environment and/or crisis and render good decisions to resolve problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to the Corporate Code of Conduct.
