Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $17.50 / hour
What you'll be doing as an Assembly Line Worker
Assemble torque converters on a production line according to established assembly procedures and specifications
Install components such as impeller, stator, turbine, lock-up clutch, and bearings into torque converter housing
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of components
Inspect parts and components for defects or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
Perform quality checks at each stage of the assembly process to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including cleaning and lubricating equipment as needed
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and productivity
Meet production quotas and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader
Available shifts:
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Prior experience in assembly line work, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive production environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy components
High school diploma or equivalent
Some Welding experience and knowledge
Background check and drug screening required
