Description Robert Half is looking for an organized, tech-savvy individual to fill the role of Network Administrator at a rapidly-growing firm. To be successful in this role, you should have a can-do attitude and be an organized problem solver who is passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure. Supporting the business, you will develop, administer and maintain the network infrastructure by making sure the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. You will work with software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems that change frequently. Your dedication to ongoing education is critical to staying current and fully informed. This permanent opportunity is for a Network Administrator who will work in the Kew Gardens, New York, area.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Investigating and solving problems related to local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related issues

• Applying LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures

• Controlling the operation of services related to all local area networks and wide area networks, while adhering to company policies and procedures

• Upgrading network software and hardware Requirements - Expertise in network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations

• Command of Microsoft Windows

• AD Servers experience desired

• Citrix experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Aptitude for troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing problems

• Previous experience in production environments and being on-call Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
