The Waterwheel Trading Post in Killington, Vermont is seeking a full-time cashier to join our team.
As a cashier, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing customer transactions using a cash register, collecting payments, and making change. Additional duties include stocking shelves and merchandising inventory, assisting in food preparation, and putting away orders. You are a team player, detail-oriented, friendly, and dependable.
Our ideal candidate has customer service experience. Cashier experience is preferred but not required.
This is a full-time position with hours from 6:00 AM 2:00 PM Monday through Friday.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be able to operate a cash register
- Be able to do basic math (addition & subtraction)
- Assist customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Maintain stock of products throughout the store
- Assist in food preparation and cooking
- Provide support to other staff members as needed
- Support cleanliness efforts as needed to maintain a welcoming environment for guests
