About the role

The MAC Planner is responsible for providing move management /relocation services and office furniture reconfigurations inclusive of MACs (Move Adds and Changes) on a wide range of projects and activities for an assigned portfolio.

Under the supervision of the MAC Manager, the MAC Planner works directly with the client to fulfill customer requirements and maintain business relationships, while performing successful delivery of projects. Plans all aspects of office move, furniture reconfiguration projects, minor construction and facility services tasks, including space planning, determining resources, development of project timelines, work plans, budget, quality control and assigning work tracks. Monitors, coordinates and oversees all related move, workspace changes and occupancy planning, while acting as a single point of contact for all furniture policy issues and standards as set forth in client contract documents.

What you’ll do

Act as systems administrator of the internet-based project tracking system, project websites and job cost accounting system.

  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries concerning performance reports and project tracking system data. Raise to management as needed.

  • Assist the team with the execution, monitoring and adherence of project administrative practices and policies.

  • Provide internal and external customer training on software applications.

  • Assist with close-out procedures.

  • Train new administrative assistants and temporary employees on policies and administration.

  • Prepare routine and special client reports as required.

  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and goals.

  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is preferred but not required.

Basic AutoCAD skills: Experienced in analyzing, deciphering and interpreting Architectural drawings and base building floor plans preferred but not required.

Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
