DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will serve as the initial reviewer for all work orders submitted to the Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS), ensuring compliance with approval requirements for additional or extra work related to construction projects. Furthermore, you will oversee the evaluation of quantities and costs associated with highway and bridge construction projects, which includes analyzing approved plans, construction reports, and contractors' payment requests. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving discrepancies in data to determine the quantities eligible for payment to construction contractors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor; or Four years of experience in construction inspection, including one year in a supervisory capacity; and graduation from high school or equivalent certification of formal training. Completion of a training program in construction inspection sanctioned by the using agency may be substituted for high school graduation. An Associate Degree in an engineering or closely related technology may be substituted for one year of the required non-supervisory experience; or Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
