Job Description

This position is in Corporate Services (CS) organization in Intel Kiryat Gat.

Corporate Services’ scope is vast and includes operating and maintaining the facilities on site, supporting relevant technical & engineering aspects required to allow 24/7 production at Intel Kiryat Gat.

In this position, you will be responsible for the plant electrical systems - including:

  • Distribution systems from site main substation at 161KV down to H.V, M.V systems at 22KV, 6.6KV and down below to various lowvoltages systems as LVSSs (Low Voltage Substations), UPSs, Emergency generators, Motor Control Centers, Variable Speed Drives and more.

  • You will be responsible for the systems reliability, efficiency and will be expected to drive continuous improvement to these systems.

  • As part of the job, you will also participate in different site technology projects design, lead electrical projects and conduct startup and commissioning of new systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering

  • Israeli Electrical license – Electrical Engineer (Hasmelahi Mehandes)

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering support /or operation of electrical systems in the industry. Preferred experience at industrial plants with private 161KV, or 400KV substation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Hebrew and in English.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Knowledge at plants electrical systems design principles, HV/MV switching procedure principles, protections selectivity andcoordination principles.

  • Deep technical engineering knowledge with good analytical andproblem-solving skills.

  • High leadership and influence capabilities.

  • Good ability to work independently and a good teamwork.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks based on priorities.

  • High safety mindset.

  • Customer orientation approach
