Your Role and Responsibilities

Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code, and test web-based applications, and support those applications for our highly valued customers.

Employ IBM's Design Thinking to create products that provide an optimal user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability.

Document general processes and practices as needed.

Team collaboration to maintain end-to-end ownership and delivery code sources owned by the MultiCloud SaaS Platform UI Squad.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in development of systems and any cloud provider/software

  • 3+ years programming in two or more of the following languages: Golang, Python

  • 2+ years experience with developing for cloud technologies, such as: Docker, Kubernetes, Kubernetes CRD, Operator

  • 2+ years experience in software Defined Networking and cloud security technologies

  • Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures

  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming.

  • Deep understanding and demonstrable application of Agile best practices.

  • Demonstrable hands-on expertise in cloud technologies.

  • Team mindset: Willingness to collaborate and iterate.

  • Growth mindset: Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

  • experience testing your own software and writing test automation scripts

  • Good understanding of agile product development and product life-cycle management in highly technical environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience working with RedHat OpenShift.

  • Proficiency working with SQL.

  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access management practices and implementations.

  • Experience developing in hyperscalers (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Experience in architecting, deploying, and/or operating solutions built onhyperscalers (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Experience with large-scale and complex system integrations, cloud security and zero-trust architectures.

  • Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git.

About Business UnitThe MultiCloud SaaS Platform (MCSP) is one of IBM's internal products that is at the core of innovation and enablement for SaaS offerings. It represents the shared set of components, tools, and infrastructure designed to facilitate the seamless operation of IBM SaaS solutions across various hyperscale cloud providers. By offering a consistent experience, MCSP ensures that customers can enjoy a standardized and reliable environment.
