Red Hat Partner Sales Executive in Kowloon, Hong Kong

The Red Hat Hong Kong Commercial Sales team is looking for a Partner Sales Executive (PSE). In this role, you will be responsible to cover a wide range of customer space, including existing customers as well as white spaces acquisitions accounts, across various industry segments. Your primary goal is to seek for new opportunities with customers to land, guide the adoption, and expand Red Hat solutions in these accounts. By developing business pipelines and jointly managed sales cycles, forecasting management, to deal closure in collaboration with Account Executives, technical owners, and leadership team, thus helping customers to achieve their business and technology transformation objectives.

What you will do

  • Grow Red Hat’s customer values by connecting aligned partners with the right capabilities to solve customer needs and develop sales opportunities through joint account planning, lead sharing, and marketing and demand generation activities.

  • Attain pod quota for new acquisitions, expansion, and renewals by forecasting and improving partner deal pipeline progression, deal status, and performance.

  • Joint territories and accounts developments with partner account managers and partners to grow customer demand and consumption; identify whitespace and acquisition targets and expand existing accounts to new use cases and workloads.

  • Coordinate with partner account managers (PAM) to build and accelerate business pipelines; build effective methodologies to follow-through agreed strategies, tactics and activities.

What you will bring

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders inside and outside of Red Hat. Cultivate long-term relationships and develop advocates across customer and partner organizations.

  • Solid understanding of customers within the assigned territory, including customer business, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Red Hat’s differentiators and value proposition.

  • Solid understanding of partner ecosystems and how to sell together with ecosystem partners.

  • Proven experience selling complex IT solutions to mid-sized organizations and multiple decision makers by working with Partner Accounts Manager (PAM) to engage the partner ecosystem.

  • Ability to articulate the value of Red Hat’s solutions, Red Hat’s differentiation, and Red Hat opportunity to partner with sales counterparts.

  • 10-12 years enterprise technology solutions sales experience with 4-5 years in a senior level role selling to CxO level.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
