We are seeking a skilled full-stack Developer with experience developing high performance, multi-user, information management, and high-volume data processing applications in a contemporary Azure hosted services environment, who has good communication skills to join our dynamic team at Jacobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for evolving technology, with skills and proficiency in software development, particularly in C#, JavaScript (VueJS/ReactJS/AngularJS), ASP.NET Core MVC, REST and Web APIs, Design Libraries (such as Google’s Material Design). The developer is expected to be strong on working within azure environment with services such as Azure App Services, Functions, Storage, Queues, WebJobs.

As a Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the web and backend applications that meet our client’s needs.

Primary Development Skills – C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET Core MVC / Web API, REST APIs, Entity Framework Core

Primary Azure Skills - Cloud Architecture, Azure App Services, Functions, Storage, Queues, WebJobs, Failover, S3, Azure SQL

Databases - SQL Server, Mysql, MongoDB

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using VueJS, ASP.NET Core MVC and C#.

  • Design and implement RESTful and Web APIs using ASP.NET Core.

  • Integrate applications with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Functions.

  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

  • Debug and resolve software defects, ensuring optimal software performance.

  • Perform code reviews to maintain code quality standards.

  • Has Experience working with Azure DevOps and agile practices.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in C# and JavaScript programming languages, ASP.NET Core MVC

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

  • Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
