Schedule Weekly Hours:40 Gundersen Health System is looking to add a Biomedical Technician Associate to our growing Biomedical Technology and Healthcare Technology Management team! What You\'ll Do: Healthcare Technology Management professionals are key members of the healthcare delivery team. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the procurement and management of materials, supplies, equipment, and components to support the Biomedical and Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) department. The work you will do including installation, testing, maintenance, repair, support, and calibration of life-saving medical devices and equipment directly impacts patient safety and care. You may also advise, assist, and train hospital & clinic staff with proper and safe operation of technical equipment. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining necessary records of cost and inventory within CMMS as well as the setup of physical space for an organized inventory. What\'s Available: Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE) Monday-Friday between 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Primarily based in La Crosse, WI but may travel to provide support to affiliate and clinic locations What You\'ll Need: Associate degree in Biomedical Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a similar program - or - equivalent years of experience and education Valid Driver\'s License (DL) Familiarity with medical equipment and electronic part identification is preferred but not required.
