Position description
Assists the Simulation Center with activities surrounding pre and post simulation events, running all the simulation related equipment, performing routine maintenance on all Simulation Center equipment, assisting with data collection and documentation, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with inventory management and supporting activities as assigned to maintain quality and effective simulations.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a life science or healthcare related field with one year experience working in a direct patient care position within a hospital or clinical setting or an Associate's degree in a life science or healthcare related field with three years experience working in a direct patient care position within a hospital or clinical setting. Computer skills required. Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 25 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
Additional qualifications
Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility in work hours that includes off hours and weekends to support SIM Center programs/courses. Demonstrated good judgment and critical thinking skills when handling a variety of procedural and technical tasks with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $20.69 per hour.
