The Full Time Sales Associate is a driven and motivated sales, boating and off-road professional that focuses on providing the highest level of customer service to all customers. This person should be dynamic and ready for anything that is asked of them. This position is a support role for all aspects of day-to-day business involving sales and reports to the Sales Lead or General Manager and is expected to assist the Sales Lead with daily duties. This includes but is not limited to showroom setups, boat show setups, cleaning, minor rigging, unloading units, staging units, administrative work, picture taking, website postings, and anything else relating to the sales process. This person is expected to be knowledgeable about all products that we offer, as well as safe boating and off-road practices and general services that they will be required to demonstrate to the customer. This person will be required to complete all training and continuously learn and adapt to new products that are offered and product changes that take place.

They will be expected to work events including boat shows, big splash events, and other sales events both on-site and off-site. A Full Time Sales Associate is an industry professional and is expected to always project professionalism in both appearance and communication.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Fully utilize company CRM!

  • Strive to become a product knowledge expert.

  • Become an industry expert by utilizing all reading, learning, and training materials offered by our manufacturers, partners, and other resources.

  • Become proficient at demonstrating product features by knowing our brands and share your knowledge with customers.

  • Be available in the showroom, at boats shows, at off-site locations, and other special events.

  • Understand and implement our dealership sales process.

  • Always provide a high level of customer service and professionalism.

  • Work cohesively with your team and coworkers in all departments.

  • Continually meet sales goals.

  • Work with service and Delivery Coordinator to ensure and oversee that the delivery to the customer is flawless for each vessel sold.

  • Maintain a clean and professional atmosphere by assisting with cleaning, restocking, re-arranging, and maintaining the showroom and all its inventory. This includes cleaning bathrooms, stocking coffee, rotating inventory, staging road displays, hanging signage, special project needs, and more.

  • Gorilla/Ground marketing efforts

  • Anything else asked upon by management team for the needs of the business

What Does a Qualified Candidate Look Like?

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and people skills

  • Ability to Multitask

  • Superior understanding of MS Office/MS Excel and various business software

  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment

  • Problem solving and strategic thinking

  • Proficiency with basic mathematics

  • Persuasiveness

  • Adequate knowledge of boats and boating safety
