Robert Half HR Coordinator in Laguna Hills, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a HR Coordinator in the bustling city of Laguna Hills, California. This role is central to the human resources department of our organization, focusing on administrative duties that maintain and enhance our workforce. The HR Coordinator will have a significant role in recruitment, employee records maintenance, payroll processing, benefits management, and training provision.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate recruitment efforts by posting job ads, organizing resumes and job applications, scheduling job interviews, and assisting in the interview process

• Coordinate and plan HR projects such as meetings, trainings, surveys, and other HR events

• Ensure the accuracy and currency of employee records including job titles, job descriptions, salary details, promotions, terminations, and other key data

• Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications

• Proactively support and facilitate HR-related trainings when needed

• Administer employee health and welfare plans and act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers

• Assist with performance management procedures

• Respond to employee queries about HR-related issues in a timely and professional manner

• Use HR software such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time, Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Onboarding, Maintain Employee Handbook, Employee Handbook, ADP HRB, Employee Relations to streamline processes and maintain records. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience as an HR Coordinator or similar HR role

• Proficiency in HR systems including ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time

• Experience in conducting Background Checks

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Knowledge of HR Compliance regulations and procedures

• Proven experience in Employee Onboarding processes

• Ability to maintain and update Employee Handbook as needed

• Experience with ADP HRB

• Strong skills in Employee Relations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field is preferred
