FirstService Residential Part-Time Compliance Officer in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania

Job Overview:

As a Compliance Officer, the primary responsibilities are to maintain an attractive, safe and pleasing environment for residents by performing walking inspections at managers’ discretion. Keep a daily log of the homes inspected and violations noted. Maintain positive, professional relationships with the commercial and residential/tenants and owners, as well as management and vendors.

The Community Inspector/Compliance Enforcement officers willprovidethe following services and credentials as part of their job duties/responsibilities:

  • Be a visible presence within the community while being a strong and efficient visual deterrent to criminal or other illegal activities
  • Must be prompt, courteous and in uniform daily
  • Must have a total working knowledge of the community Rules and Regulations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Patrol the perimeter of the community on a constant basis and enter each building to ensure that the buildings are secure
  • Ensure that all owners/occupants are abiding by the Rules and Regulations
  • Report all incidents to managementand/or the township officials
  • Must have positive people skills in dealing withday to dayquestions or concerns
  • Keep,recordand produce a log of all incidents including but not limitedto:record and report car count log, smoke detectors chirping, ensuring that gates secured, all doors locked and secured and any unusual incidents within the community daily
  • Ensure daily upon arrival that gates are operational.
  • Raise gates when there is a possibility of inclement weather and place cones as needed throughout community
  • Assistmaintenance/pool attendant when necessary

  • Attend to owners/occupant complaints and concerns

  • Report suspicious activity or hazards
  • Report all winter watch candles that are illuminated to management and unit owners
  • Place any trash not in dumpsters into dumpsters with space available in them
  • Report any criminal activity through 911
  • Hours of operation may change due to any circumstances at the discretion of management

8:00pm-1:00am

Essential Duties & Responsibilitie s

  • Responds to emergency situations ina timelyand efficient manner
  • Monitors and controls access to the community
  • Maintains daily log,recordsand forms
  • Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues, escalating to supervisor if necessary
  • Providesgeneral concierge services as well as administrative clerical work when needed
  • Helpsmaintaina safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s)
  • Walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes
  • Have the ability tounderstand and complete all required forms
  • May be assigned other duties by manager

Compensation:

$20 per hour
