FFP Sr. Project Manager in Lake Mary, Florida

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill a key role within the organization that is a strong technical visionary, innovator, and people leader. This role is responsible for leading and driving the Company’s Project Management Office (PMO). This individual will manage and maintain a Project Portfolio Scorecard for communication and alignment and will manage key projects from idea to launch. This is a new and critical position within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns and leads Stage-Gate meetings, communication, minutes, action items, and scorecarding

  • Communicate and maintain alignment on projects, timelines, and project/portfolio priorities

  • Manage a multi-business unit project portfolio

  • Manage highly complex projects

  • Lead and manage non-reporting cross functional resources

  • Comfortably and confidently share project/portfolio updates with the Executive Leadership Team

  • Manage large cross functional teams

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, success criteria

  • Develop and maintain project budgets

  • Strong collaboration and alignment with BU Presidents

  • Maintains communication and alignment across the organization

  • Partners with Project Owners to successfully drive and deliver projects

  • Maintain portfolio and project data/records

  • Strong collaboration across all businesses and at all levels within the organization.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or higher educational degree

  • 7+ years of experience in project/program/portfolio management

  • Ideally, experience in food, chemical, and/or pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience leading large projects and programs

  • Experience managing a portfolio and preparing/presenting a portfolio scorecard to Sr Management

  • Expertise with Stage-Gate project and portfolio management

  • Financial and P&L experience for project/portfolio management and decision making

  • Proven track record creating, presenting, and evaluating project charters and gate passage documents

  • Expertise managing multiple cross functional project teams simultaneously

  • Proven experience in risk management, problem solving, change management, and conflict resolution

  • Experience managing/coaching non-reporting cross functional resources

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization including senior leaders and executives

  • Must be creative, innovative and dynamic with leadership qualities necessary to develop talent

  • A proven track-record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives

  • Outgoing, friendly, dynamic, enthusiastic and always up for the next challenge

  • Self-starter and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Builds strong relationships across the organization and work on projects collaboratively

  • High customer focus and insight orientation

  • Strong analytical, planning, and budgeting/financial skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Agile in adjusting to and managing through change

  • Fun, energetic and dynamic presence

  • Ability to travel (up to 30%).
