This is a long-term contract / temporary entry-level Accountant role based in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Responsibilities

• Helping with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

• Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

• Preparing monthly journal entries

• Perform data entry

• Investigating and fixing account discrepancies

• Carrying out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned

• Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct Requirements - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

• Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

• At minimum, 1 year of relevant accounting experience

• Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

• Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

• Be detailed, flexible, and organized

• An AA or BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business suggested

• Deep understanding of SAP

• Foundational knowledge in cost accounting

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

• Analytics experience required

• Month end closings experience
