Corewell Health Physician - Family Medicine - Lake Odessa, Michigan in Lake Odessa, Michigan
Lake Odessa Family Medicine is looking for a physician to join their busy practice caring for patients across the generational spectrum located in a rural town between Grand Rapids and Lansing. Practice currently has 2 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.
Team-based care is supplemented with onsite RN, care managers, medical assistants working one-to-one with the physicians along with centralized social work, behavioral health and pharmacy for consultation needs. On site lab draws as well as x-ray and Physical Therapy.

The physician is responsible for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the health problems presented by the patients.
Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.Actively works with Spectrum Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
Required Bachelor's Degree
LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
