Ferguson Industrial is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to fill an immediate need managing a fleet of over 150 pieces of McElroy Fusion Equipment for rentals and fabrication. The proper management of these assets require a dedicated associated to monitor rental and repair activity trends, upcoming project needs, training needs as well as maintaining the relationship with our equipment partner vendor.

We are looking for someone to manage our fleet and bring fleet knowledge to Ferguson. Ferguson can teach you what you need to know about the type of equipment, how it’s maintained, and the overall market. We need someone who understands how to maintain fleet by serial number in a system that can be maintained and used for return on investment (ROI) model generation for future investment. This person will also have a coordinator who assists with the day-to-day rental activities while they focus on the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all activities' fleet related and reporting directly to Industrial Plastics Team Manager in Lakeland, FL.

  • Monitor, maintain, and improve reporting for existing fleet and new fleet purchases.

  • Develop business cases for additional fleet based on ROI models.

  • Monitor and inform leadership of rental activities and trends.

  • Develop and coordinate a team of qualified trainers for maintaining fleet with assistance from team leadership.

  • Guide and coordinate existing team of qualified maintenance associates responsible for keeping the fleet up and operational.

  • Maintain a strong relationship with equipment vendors and host monthly or quarterly calls.

  • Own the rental rates for the business and adapt as needed to be competitive.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years fleet experience is preferred.

  • A successful associate will be results oriented, self-motivated, able to complete tasks in a timely manner, build relationships, and enjoy a team environment.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Problem solving, leadership, and listening skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and any other digital platforms.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
