Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Clinic Marketing and Social Media Specialistfor our Lakeville, Minnesota location. Job Summary: The Clinic Marketing Specialist position will be responsible for developing and managing marketing campaigns that will increase revenue and business visibility of the clinics working with the Midwest Clinic Marketing Business Unit. Responsibilities will involve developing marketing strategies, creating marketing collateral items and promotional materials, consulting on interactive properties, and directing marketing funds. The position will also work with internal departments to develop and communicate the implementation of new projects as well as provide guidance to our sales force regarding marketing initiatives. Essential Job Functions: Promote, market, and facilitate the Midwest Clinic Marketing services to internal and external audiences. Manage and develop working relationships though a consulting role on marketing opportunities to bring visibility and increased sales revenue to customer's practices. Provide project management for clinic marketing projects through the development of creative briefs for Graphic Designers and be the liaison and decision maker for the editing of final projects for clinics and hospitals. Manage the development strategy and communications of clinic marketing promotional materials, customized marketing collateral, digital properties, social media content and branding Manage the marketing funds assigned to the Midwest Clinic Marketing Business Unit for the management and maintenance of the Clinic Marketing website. Manage the assigned marketing budget for the selection and purchase of Midwest promotional items and oversee the distribution of promotional item orders to the sales force. Authorize the purchasing of products and personalized promotional items on behalf of our clinics and hospitals and manage the marketing budgets earned and approved through loyalty and partnership programs Work collaboratively on the social media strategy of Midwest through the development of supporting digital collateral, conceptual design research and provide social analytics for the social footprint of Midwest Perform other duties as assigned Organizational Competencies: Must be able to perform job responsibilities in a professional manner, consistent with the needs of our internal and external customers and in accordance with all policies, procedures, and manuals. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily Advanced understanding of developing promotional marketing program for clients and measuring their success. Ability to present the image of Midwest to our clients in a professional manner Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or other related field is required Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing or related project management role Proven experience in developing relationships with clients Developing marketing strategies in print, event planning, and social media Experience in developing branded marketing collateral items such as flyers, brochures, posters, social posts, branded give-a-ways, business cards, and event planning support. Experience building projects that involve web properties and e-mail campaigns. Experience using MS Office and Adobe Writer required. Experience using InDesign software. Experience in a veterinary related field a plus Experience in working with the development and implementation of loyalty programs Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to take constructive criticism of proposals from internal and external clients Ability to work collaboratively with internal creative resources Excellent written and verbal communication skill Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and problem solve Strong attention to detail Strong project management and customer service skills Creative minded and promotion development experience Familiarity with copywriting, editing and design principals Ability to create designs in InDesign software Mental & Physical Demands: Attention to detail to assure accuracy for presentation of material Regular interaction with people, team-player Daily deadlines may result in a fast pace of work and potential for stress Continuous use of hands for writing and computer keyboard, working with a relevant volume of data to include alpha and numeric detail Vision: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Frequent use of a telephone - listening and speaking Ability to work at a desk throughout the day Ability to occasionally sort boxes of printed material weighing up to 35 pounds Job duties and requirements may be subject to modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. Work Environment: Work is typically performed Monday through Friday in an office environment. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required for business purposes and some travel outside of the state.
