Responsibilities Overview The Transportation Freight Payment & Claims Coordinator manages vendor compliance to the Post Consumer Brands freight payment processes and performs fee validation activities. The Coordinator is responsible for all components of the freight claim process including submittal, tracking, resolution and recovery. This position provides a vital link to Post Consumer Brands transportation vendor partners by maintaining strong working relationships and timely administrative support. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Functional Expertise Serve as the expert on freight invoicing processes and accessorial application ensuring vendor compliance with PCB’s contract terms and E2open requirements Develop and maintain training and documentation detailing invoice and claims processes for use by PCB’s external transportation vendors Drive resolution to freight payment discrepancies and act as the primary contact for vendor questions Monitor PCB internal metrics for payment execution and partner cross functionally to identify corrective actions for performance below threshold Submit freight claims, present negotiation proposals to vendors and seek alignment from legal counsel on resolution as appropriate Develop tracking to facilitate claims tracking and settlement recovery Partner cross functionally to develop and implement cost savings initiatives for supply chain as requested Technical Expertise Align with E2open Power User to ensure proper set up of system used to receive and process invoices Monitor E2open and JDE interfaces required for timely payment to vendors in conjunction with IT and Accounting partners Qualifications Education: Four year degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, or other related field of study preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years industry experience Experience operating in a supply chain environment in areas of operations, production planning, materials management, transportation planning, carrier management or warehousing Basic knowledge of logistics processes and planning systems Accounts receivable/payable management or financial control experience Integrated planning systems training (ERP/DRP/WMS/TMS is preferred) Other Characteristics Strong communication and collaboration skills Demonstrated good business judgment and decision making skills Skill in prioritizing workloads and stress management Ability to coordinate and move forward on planned activities in a customer/vendor landscape Problem solving aptitude, results orientation and ability to deliver results independently
