Chromalloy Senior Production Planner in Lam Luk Ka, Thailand

This role needs to ensure that business benefits will be delivered across the company through enhanced use of the technology for detailed analysis and sustainable processes for Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP). Success in this role demands both hands-on efforts to work through low level details as well as a high-level creative and analytical mindset to promote information flow and facilitate decision making.

 

Strategy & Planning and controller 

  1. Conduct complex analysis from business data and financial information including market trends, sales analysis, sales mix, operational performance, and key performance tracking.

  2. Use recognized statistical modeling metrics, KPIs, such as forecast accuracy. 

  3. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and latest estimates for functional leaders, supporting the finance team with variance analysis. 

  4. Review financial results by units with operation leaders, providing insights into results relative to expectations.

     

Operational Management

  1. Lead the development and implementation of labor KPI’s across the site, then lead the transfer to department ownership.

  2. Guide and support Operations Supervisors and departmental leaders to own their KPI’s. 

  3. Monitor operational and business function performance against budget/goals, reporting favorable and adverse variances and provide recommendations to improve performance.

  4. Build strong interdepartmental relationships and maintain open lines of communication.

  5. Conduct presentations as required, be able to present in English and Thai

  6. Create and maintain key dashboards, work with IT to automate the dashboards, utilizing data analytic tools such as Power BI.

  7. Any other task required by the business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, engineering, computer science or finance.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aerospace/Energy or similar industry with manufacturing and/or repair of highly engineered products.

  • Previous experience in a shop floor operations role, data analytics role, or customer facing position is desired.

  • Proficiency with Excel is required; experience with Access or another database platform is desired.

  • Lean Six Sigma black-belt or green-belt training/certification is a plus.
